In Junior Church we help children to build personal relationships with Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit through understanding, exploring and applying the Bible in a relevant, child-friendly way.
All our staff and volunteers are CRB/DBS-checked and trained to care for your child. A copy of our Child Protection Policy can be made available on request.
Our classes are positive and faith-filled with facilities that are colourful and child-friendly. Our trained and CRB-checked volunteer team bring an attitude of joy and impart life to children at every age.
JC is designed to teach children the Word of God by studying key themes and stories in the Bible. Taught by a dedicated team, you can be sure that every child is given the opportunity to learn the Word, live it and love the Lord.
This area is designed to provide a safe environment to meet the needs of the infant. If your child needs to sleep, feed, play or be changed, this can be done in Starfish. It is also a private area where mothers can feed their children throughout the service.
In this class we encourage the children to develop Christian principles and social skills through play, singing and activities. If parents wish, we will change nappies and give bottles provided that these are supplied to us. We also offer juice and biscuits.
In this class we teach simple Bible stories and principles in fun and interactive ways through story times, drama, songs, games and craft. We try to have one toilet run during the morning, to help with routine, and they also have a juice and biscuit break.
Here the children are encouraged to start reading the Bible for themselves, and learn about the Bible and Christian principles through stories, games, work sheets, activities and craft. This class is fun and enjoyable, and drinks and biscuits are provided.
Sharks encourages children to question the world and make their own decisions for God. We explore the Bible and church principles in a child-friendly form and encourage participation in Bible reading and prayer, as well as in music, drama and craft.
Stingrays aims to smooth the transition to full participation in church meetings. We focus on Scripture and prayer in a more structured environment and encourage the children to make decisions for God and to make church their home.
