Romans 5:3-6 (NLT)
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
Prayer
Father, in Jesus’ name I ask for renewed hope. Today let me shine with your glory. Let me know you in a deeper, more personal way.
Worship through Never Give Up by Jen Goffin from the album Salvation Is Here.
Pray through Psalm 2 and Isaiah 2:1-22. Write out everything that God has challenged you with.
The day of the Lord is coming when every knee will bow down, and every tongue confess- He is Lord. We can thank God today that he has allowed us , by his marvellous grace, to enter his kingdom. Our momentary suffering will be nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed on that day.We thank God for his grace.
Great word this morning. Thought occurred to me that when it was crunch time for God we saw Love, mercy and forgiveness. I pray I do not give up and when things are tough I exhibit the character of God.
