3 John 4-7 (NLT)
I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth. Dear friend, you are being faithful to God when you care for the traveling teachers who pass through, even though they are strangers to you. They have told the church here of your loving friendship. Please continue providing for such teachers in a manner that pleases God. For they are traveling for the Lord, and they accept nothing from people who are not believers.
Prayer
Let me be a blessing to those around me; let them be blessed by my hands and my words. I ask, Jesus, that I become more selfless like you, and that nothing hinders you from blessing everyone in my life.
Worship through Greatest Miracle from the album Salvation Is Here.
Pray through Psalm 6 and Isaiah 6:1-13. Write out everything that God has challenged you with.
I love today’s reading in Isaiah. Isaiah saw the Lord after the death of King Uzzaih and then he was commissioned. Sometimes ‘King stomach’ can prevent us from seeing God. As we fast it is my prayer that we will see God more clearly so that we can do his work. Let us not give up!
A Sound of Heaven example (as spoken about by Pastor Chip, in today’s service): Isaiah 6:3 – 4 (NLT) They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke.
