UPDATED 13-07-21

As the current Covid restrictions are due to be lifted on 19th July, we’re very excited to announce our service plans for the summer and beyond!

Everyone is working hard behind the scenes to make sure that church remains a safe and Covid-secure venue and that we can worship the Lord together with confidence.

Please see our post on live services from 18th April for details of services leading up to the dates listed below.

Sundays

From Sunday 25th July:

  • Services will continue at St John’s.
  • We will double the auditorium capacity, using all seats in the current layout.
  • We will double the number of JC places available.
  • Pre-booking for the auditorium and JC will still be required.
  • We will continue to livestream the service on YouTube.

Sunday 29th August:

  • Picnic and praise at Judgemeadow in place of our regular service and August’s Harvest Groups (details TBC).
  • In the case of poor weather we will postpone the picnic and meet at St John’s for a service, as usual.

From Sunday 5th Sept:

  • Sunday services will return to Judgemeadow at 10.30–11.30am.
  • Places at our Sunday services will no longer be limited and booking will not be required.
  • There will be no Sunday service at St John’s.
  • We will no longer livestream Sunday services, but we will aim to upload the preached word to YouTube within 24 hours.

Tuesdays

From Tuesday 3rd August:

  • TNL will continue at St John’s.
  • We will double the auditorium capacity, using all seats in the current layout.
  • We will welcome back all-ages and JC places will be available (as on Sundays).
  • Pre-booking for the auditorium and JC will still be required.
  • We will continue to livestream the service on YouTube.

Booking a place

Tickets are available to everyone on a first-come-first-served basis and are released one week in advance. Please check your emails or the HCC app for the link. If you’re a visitor to Harvest City Church, please call or email the office and we will do our very best to help you.

  • Everyone aged 11+ will need a ticket.
  • Children aged 3-10 will need to book a JC ticket to ensure they are able to join the class.
  • Children aged 2 and under do not need a ticket but will have to stay with their supervising adult.
  • If you do not see an option for JC tickets it means the class is full. Please book your child an adult ticket and they will be welcome to join in the service downstairs.
  • If you are serving on a rota you do not need to book, but anyone attending with you will.

If you have a ticket but are unable to attend, please let the office know so that we can make your seat available to others.

Staying Covid-Secure

Although life is returning to normal, it is still possible to catch and spread Covid-19, even if you are fully vaccinated. To help reduce the risks and protect yourself and others:

  • If you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, or you have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace, you should not attend a live service.
  • Please check in with the NHS Covid-19 app or use our test and trace form.
  • Please use the one of the hand sanitising stations when entering the building.
  • Please give each other space and avoid crowding where possible.
  • We recommend that everyone aged 11+ continues to wear a face covering inside church.
  • We encourage you to continue giving your Tithes, Offerings and First Fruits by bank transfer/PayPal, however there will be an offering bucket if you want to give a cash offering.

If you are not able to attend in-person, please continue to join us every Sunday and Tuesday on YouTube for Church at Home and keep an eye on our social media for other events and groups happening throughout the week.

Exciting times ahead! See you at church!

Please note that the above is subject to change. We will update you as soon as possible of any amendments.
